Competitive Grant

The Arkansas Cancer Coalition (ACC) works to strengthen the cancer control network as well as implement the goals and strategies of the state’s only comprehensive cancer plan—the Arkansas Cancer Plan. ACC will award community grants to ACC Partners who work to implement evidence-based and promising practices of proven cancer control strategies in communities that advance specific goals, objectives, and strategies of the Arkansas Cancer Plan (ACP). Community Grants, in sums ranging from $35,000 to $55,000, will be awarded to projects implementing the goals and objectives outlined in the Arkansas Cancer Plan. Special consideration is given to organizations working in the 28 counties listed in the Arkansas Department of Health 2022 red county report. All grants will be administered on a reimbursement basis over one year, beginning July 1, 2025 and ending June 30, 2026.
