Competitive Grant

The Arkansas Cancer Coalition (ACC) works to strengthen the cancer control network as well as implement the goals and strategies of the state’s only comprehensive cancer plan—the Arkansas Cancer Plan. ACC will award community grants to ACC Partners who work to implement evidence-based and promising practices of proven cancer control strategies in communities that advance specific goals, objectives, and strategies of the Arkansas Cancer Plan (ACP).

Community Grants, in sums ranging from $35,000 to $55,000, will be awarded to projects implementing the goals and objectives outlined in the Arkansas Cancer Plan. Special consideration is given to those organizations working in the 17 red counties listed in the Arkansas Department of Health 2018 red county report. All grants will be administered on a reimbursement basis over one year, beginning July 1, 2024 and ending June 30, 2025.

Update: 1/31/2024

Our Apricot system is still experiencing technical issues that are preventing organizations from completing their grant applications.  Apricot is still working to complete this issue, but ACC has not been provided a timeframe for when the issue will be resolved.

As a result, ACC is asking that organizations complete their grant applications via the survey monkey link: https://www.surveymonkey.com/r/MG2RCP6

Applicants will have until Friday, February 9th to complete their applications in survey monkey.

BEFORE COMPLETING THIS SURVEY MONKEY
1. Please make sure you have signed up as an ACC Organization Member in our Apricot system and set up an Apricot user login.
2. Complete your FY25 Grant Application Cover Sheet in the Apricot System.

If you submitted your application in the Apricot system prior to Thursday, January 25th, no further action is needed.
