Incredible Things Are Possible

Let's work together to beat cancer.

We Are Stronger Together Than We Are Alone.

Our members are the foundation of ACC’s success. Coalition membership is comprised of committed individuals and partner organizations working together toward our mission.

Membership Benefits Include:

Arkansas Cancer Plan Grants
ACC provides support and funding for organizations that coordinate and advance proven cancer control strategies based on the Arkansas Cancer Plan. The coalition also processes grant requests for smaller events and activities on a short-term basis through mini grants. Only coalition partner organizations are eligible to apply for funding.

Coalition Engagement
Coalition members share their expertise, insight, perspectives, opportunities and resources. It is this dynamic collaboration that will lead to Arkansas’ next big breakthrough in cancer control and is why ACC is committed to increasing member communication and participation through our calendar, committees, newsletters, social media portals and websites.

Quarterly Meetings
These meetings are a highlight for our board, members and staff as we gather to network and share important program activities. During this time, ACC shares important announcements on upcoming funding opportunities and select partners share presentations about programs in their communities. After each meeting, members often stay to network and exchange contacts and ideas.

Trainings
ACC trainings take many different forms, from conferences, workshops and webinars to our groundbreaking annual Arkansas Cancer Summit and Tobacco & Disease Symposium. These trainings are geared to providing new skill sets and solutions, and sharing best practices on evidence-based programs around the state. In addition, we actively promote trainings offered by our membership.

Work Groups
ACC relies entirely on the expertise of our work groups to update or develop the Arkansas Cancer Plan, and to plan and execute program activities. Work groups provide an opportunity for partners with similar interests to come together to develop, implement and evaluate programs. Joining a work group is a sure way to get engaged and put your unique experience and education to work!

We're excited to join forces with you!
