The Arkansas Cancer Coalition in partnership with the University of Texas MD Anderson Cancer Center presents a training opportunity to become a Tobacco Treatment Specialist from April 19-23, 2021.
Learn how to treat tobacco dependence by effectively delivering tobacco cessation treatment in both a clinical and/or community setting.
Earn up to:
• 31.5 hours of CE credit (MD, DO, PA, APN and RN)
• 30 hours of CE credit (LPC, LMSW and LMFT)
• 28 hours of CE credit (CHES and MCHES)
This program is accredited by the Council for Tobacco Treatment Training Programs (CTTTP) and participants will receive Tobacco Treatment Specialist (TTS) Training or Certification (CTTS). We welcome participants from all health care disciplines and cultures. Our goal is to train interdisciplinary health care providers and public health professionals to become tobacco cessation champions for their organizations and communities.
