The 69th Arkansas Public Health Association annual meeting and expo, “Building a Healthy Arkansas: Strategies to Improve Health in the Natural State” will be held May 10-12, 2017 at the Crowne Plaza Hotel.
The conference is targeted toward public health professionals in the state, school, medical, and community settings. Information will be tailored to teachers, school administrators, nurses, counselors, prevention specialists, health educators, physicians, nutritionists, and many other health education professionals.
The goals of the conference include:
1) providing practical skills and comprehensive information for individuals involved in public health at the state and local levels,
2) stimulating the exchange of innovative programs and partnerships with state agencies, schools, businesses and communities to create a healthy future for those at risk, and
3) enhancing multidisciplinary interaction and team development among public health professionals.
