The University of Arkansas for Medical Sciences – Center for Research, Health & Social Justice will present the Community Health Impact Conference, this virtual event will take place on September 28-29, 2022.
The Community Health Impact Conference (C.H.I.C) will engage diverse stakeholders (community leaders, researchers, students, and health care providers) in a forum to share current research and best practices. Additionally, stakeholders will collaboratively set a meaningful research agenda, strengthen community building skills, and partnerships for future research and facilitate a forum for action.
C.H.I.C. goal is to increase research-community partnerships to support:
• Cancer and cardiovascular disease prevention research in rural and African American communities and
• Community development for social justice reform in rural and African American communities.
