Arkansas Cancer Race Challenge

Register for the 3rd Annual Arkansas Cancer Race Challenge!

The mission of the Arkansas Cancer Race Challenge is to decrease the burden of cancer in our community, one step at a time.

We all know someone whose life has been drastically changed due to a cancer diagnosis. The Arkansas Cancer Coalition (ACC) works with cancer treatment centers and support houses across the state, and the need for cancer patient assistance is enormous. Sometimes the ACC receives requests for funding we cannot cover through our grant. By raising funds through the Arkansas Cancer Race Challenge, our goal is to raise enough that we can say yes to every cancer patient!

The Arkansas Cancer Race Challenge provides a unique way for you to reduce your own cancer risk and help cancer patients here in Arkansas who are in active treatment. So, by participating in the Arkansas Cancer Race Challenge, you will not only help to decrease your own cancer risk, but you will also be helping to relieve some of the stress for cancer patients and their loved ones.

All proceeds from the Arkansas Cancer Race Challenge will go to ACC programs that help cancer survivors with needs such as transportation assistance to and from treatment, and hotel assistance for patients whose treatments are multiple days in a row.

In March 2021, the ACC completed its 1st Annual Arkansas Cancer Race Challenge with more than 21% of racers being cancer survivors! Our hope is that each year we host the Arkansas Cancer Race Challenge, it will grow to become a name you will remember and support!

With that said, consider participating in the Arkansas Cancer Race Challenge, no matter your fitness level. We hope that the Arkansas Cancer Race Challenge provides you with the motivation to get out, get active, stay healthy, and prevent cancer!  Together, let’s decrease the burden of cancer in our community, one step at a time!
