Caron Lott, PhD, MPA, BS 

Dr. Caron Lott has worked at Philander Smith University (PSU) since 2013, first as an adjunct faculty member and is currently a full-time staff member in the Department of Criminal Justice as the Second Chance Pell academic advisor/case manager and community engagement manager and remains an adjunct faculty member at PSU in Little Rock, Arkansas. She also is an adjunct faculty member teaching undergraduate and graduate students at the University of Arkansas at Little Rock in the Department of Social Work. Dr. Lott has also held adjunct positions at Wilberforce University in Ohio, and Arkansas Baptist College. Additionally, she has held a variety of positions in higher education, getting her start at Arkansas Baptist College in 2004, as the program coordinator/department chair for the Public Administration program, assistant professor, acting dean of the School of Business and Applied Science Technology, interim business department chair, director of assessment, and was the academic appeal, assessment, and academic curriculum chair. 

Dr. Lott holds degrees in Speech Pathology, Bachelor of Science and a Master of Public Administration from the University of Arkansas at Little Rock and a PhD from Walden University in Organizational Psychology, and basic/advanced Mediation Certificates from the PULSE Institute.
