ACC Presents Brief Tobacco Intervention Program

ACC presents a free, virtual opportunity for healthcare providers who want to receive training on tobacco cessation. If you are a physician, physician’s assistant, nurse, pharmacist, wellness manager, nutritionist, respiratory therapist, dental professional, social worker, community health professional, or cancer and tobacco control advocate who work directly with patients, this training may be for you!

While counseling and medication are both effective for tobacco cessation, combining these treatments can be even more effective. This training will instruct participants with developing quit plans for tobacco users, prescribing medications, and referring patients for lung cancer screenings.

BTI Sessions are hosted by ACC in partnership with three experienced healthcare professionals in the areas of Pharmacotherapy, Low Dose CT Screening, and Motivational Interviewing.
