The Donald W. Reynolds Cancer Support House provides cost-free, ongoing support for patients fighting cancer. The House is a haven where patients join others to accomplish a shared goal–survivorship.
The Reynolds Cancer Support House is the largest free-standing cancer support facility in the country. Located away from a sterile hospital or clinical setting, the Support House provides individuals a comfortable and inviting place of recovery and hope.
Our mission is to provide cost-free, non-medical support programs and services to cancer patients and caregivers, and to provide educational programs to the community in support of early detection of cancer.
The Donald W. Reynolds Cancer Support House offers a variety of programs and services in a comfortable, inviting atmosphere at no cost to the patient or family. With our unique mix of support, the House has assisted thousands of cancer patients and their family members with their battle against cancer.
Services:
Financial Assistance
The Support House has funding available for emergency financial assistance (for daily living expenses and transportation to and from treatment). Our in-house patient navigators can assist cancer patients at any point in their journey. Call (479) 782-6302 for more information.
Support Groups offer cancer patients the opportunity to interact, comfort, and encourage one another, and provide emotional support after diagnosis and during the rigors of cancer treatment.
Salon Services
Wigs, hats, scarves & turbans: These supplies and fittings are offered to patients who experience hair loss during treatment. Patients are treated to a private fitting session in the House’s professional beauty salon. All of these supplies and services are offered at no cost to cancer patients. If you have questions about our salon services, would like to register for or donate services or supplies, please contact us.
Education Sessions
Through a full resource library, specially equipped teaching kitchen and spacious classrooms we offer and host a myriad of educational programs. Join other survivors to get educated about cancer and cancer treatments or to take a fun break and get your mind off of it altogether.
