We specifically target rural, disadvantaged and low income populations to deliver programs and services which address the root causes of poor health status. Our current cadre of programs and services includes the delivery of public health education programs, education and support for teen pregnancies, tobacco and other types of substance abuse prevention education and services, prescription drug assistance, programs addressing chronic disease, healthy nutrition and exercise for lifestyle changes, breast health education and services, including mammographies for low-income women, healthcare workforce training and professional education to keep healthcare professionals at the top of their game with evidence-based training. Annual needs assessments help us determine program directions and we have worked to develop an extensive network of community partners to help us further our goals and objectives collaboratively.
