To further our mission in preventing lung cancer, the American Lung Association aims to expand the reach of the Radon Basics Program by requesting cancer coalitions to increase awareness by linking Radon Basics on their websites. Radon is the second leading cause of lung cancer in the United States, yet many individuals do not know the harmful effects of radon, how to assess their homes, or what action to take with elevated levels. The American Lung Association’s free online Radon Basics module answers all these questions.
