The American Lung Association, in partnership with the Arkansas Department of Health, will host a free educational webinar.

COPD, COVID-19 and Tobacco Use: Know the Risk webinar will address Arkansas specific smoking and vaping rates will be held on June 29, 2020 (10-11:30am CST).  In addition to reviewing the latest vaping devices, trends, and targeted population. The webinar will cover the most recent concerns regarding COVID-19 among smokers/vaping and especially individuals with compromised lung function or COPD.  There are no continuing education credits for attending this webinar. However, there will be information available for ALA’s Ask, Refer and Advise to Quit not Switch webinar that has 1 hour of continuing education credit for nurses, nurse practitioners, respiratory therapists, pharmacists, nurses, medical, and certified health educators.
