Breast Health Equity: Reducing Structural Barriers

May 18th, 2021 – 12:00 PM (CST) Despite the challenges we face during the pandemic, breast cancer screening remains a public health priority, and we must provide the public with safe opportunities to prevent and detect breast cancer. This webinar will bring together subject matter experts to share EBIs, equity-oriented methods, and a call to action to safely resume and promote screening in the community to reduce breast cancer disparities. Please join us for a free CE!

Target audience: Surgeons, oncologists, providers, nurses, nurse practitioners and other healthcare professionals

PROGRAM OVERVIEW This activity will share how COVID 19 has caused essential health screenings delays, including breast cancer screening. Subject matter experts will provide insight on how to reignite screening utilizing the multi-pronged approach dependent upon local regulatory requirements and strategies for confidently reassuring patients about the safety and the importance of breast cancer screening
