Please join us for the ACC Quarterly Meeting on Tuesday, February 9, at 10:00AM! This meeting will be held online via Zoom. The agenda is below.

People with cancer are among the most vulnerable population to have COVID-19 complications. This reality makes the pandemic even more challenging, as those undergoing treatment struggle with basic needs, including access to accommodation, food and transportation.

During this quarterly meeting, learn about what Kristin Trulock, Executive Director at Home for Healing, formerly the Family Home of Little Rock, is doing to reduce the burden of cancer in the COVID era and how you can get involved.

Meet our speaker:

Kristin Trulock – Home for Healing

Kristin Trulock has more than 10 years of fundraising experience for Arkansas, where she has started many programs, walks, portfolio’s and donors. She is responsible for helping raise over 2.5 million dollars for the state of Arkansas. In the past years, she has brought new walks to cities all over the country including Nashville, Louisville, Charleston, Baton Rouge and more. She prides herself in helping connect grant recipients, sponsors and communities together.

She has a direct passion for the Home for Healing mission. While helping her aunt caretake for her cousin-in-law while battling Metastatic Breast Cancer, she watched her fight an amazing fight with grace and a positive attitude. She, and other family members diagnosed with cancer were a main factor in why Kristin decided to change her career to the Home for Healing after the Arkansas Affiliate of Susan G Komen closed its doors.

Kristin’s past experiences and deep-rooted connections in Arkansas make this a perfect match in helping change the future for the patients of the Home. She is passionate about her work and takes it as a personal mission to make a difference in all that she can. She is widely regarded in her abilities to bring funds for a cause near and dear to her heart and she has served in many roles throughout other non-profits in the development role.
