The Arkansas Cancer Coalition has announced its first-ever Arkansas Cancer Race!

The mission of the Arkansas Cancer Race is to decrease the burden of cancer in our community, one step at a time. The Arkansas Cancer Race provides a unique way for you to reduce your own cancer risk and help cancer patients here in Arkansas who are in active treatment.

Obesity is a major risk factor for cancer, and Arkansas has one of the highest obesity rates in the nation. It is ACC’s hope that the Arkansas Cancer Race provides you with the motivation to get out, get active, stay healthy, and prevent cancer!

The race will be virtual. Meaning, you can select from 3K or 5K and record your results in your own race setting, whether it be a treadmill or a park, etc. We just ask that you complete your race by March 1, 2021.
